Whilst this is a grey amethyst cluster, the centre area has a very light violet hue.
The red blob is actually a small red area near the base.
It is a lovely piece of amethyst and comes with a detachable stand so that is can be mounted if you choose.
It measures approximately 15.6cm, whilst the width is about 9.5cm and the depth is about 7cm.
