It’s a new year Folks! 2018! Where have all the years gone?
It sure seemed to come around quickly.
A new year. A new start! What better way to start with than January. Mainly because we had no other option but what a wonderful month it was regardless. It may have been dark and dreary and the weather may have been cold although that does depend on where you are in the world of course but just think, the new year brings new things for us all. Nature is pregnant, she’s not quite showing as being heavily pregnant but just look around you.
Sheep have lambs in their bellies, snow drops and daffodils are peaking through the soil and tulips are on their way too. That just goes to show that this is the time of re birth and new opportunities.
It’s time to let go of what was and live in the present moment.
Astrology is an interesting thing and certainly something which people tend to look at to gain an insight to the rest of the year.
It’s a bit of a wonder really; no matter how much you research there is always something else to learn.
The stars and Planets are dancing around whilst Astrologists are studying the patterns of their relationships and the link between this and our own birth charts. Everything/one is linked together in the grand scheme of things. Astrology takes a closer look at those relationships, patterns and links and creates a meaning for everything.
For example it may take a look at how a planetary movement influences us individually or contorts a moment, a day, a space in time.
So, with that in mind, have you made your wish list for the year yet? No? Tick tock, the year is already on the move, it's time to get your list started. Put your wishes, your dreams, your ambitions, out to the universe. Tell it what you want! Then, with a little bit of positive affirmations with a dash of self belief and hard work, the universe will work towards making your dream/wishes come true.
Astrology is a beautiful thing to research, there’s a minefield of information out there but in a nut shell, it’s a brilliant way for us to better get to know ourselves.
How to start.
A good place to start is by knowing where you were born and at what time. From this you can figure out what star sign, moon and rising signs you are.
Here’s a link to a chart which will help you to find this information out. It will give you a complete insight to your astrological chart.
The Chinese animal Zodiac is a cycle which is repeated every 12 years, each year is represented by an animal so there are 12 animals to represent each year.
