This is a lovely twinkly cluster which has only a hint of purple in its points - this means that as it was forming there was very little iron and heat where is was growing - the more iron and heat that's in the mix the more purple it becomes...but it is still amethyst and still magic!

The camera didn't pick up it's sparklyness unfortunately but it does have a lovely twinkle!

It looks like there is a layer of very dark purple under the points which gives a look of speckled dark areas in amongst the points.

It measures about 11.5cm high x 6cm wide x 7.5cm deep.
